Victorian House Plans

One of the key elements that define the Victorian style is the typical use of gingerbread detailing and along with the use of wrap-around-porches. This style of house plan is usually a two story home containing steep varying roof pitches. You will commonly find the use of octagonal turrets and dormers. The roof type will usually be gabled and you might find bayed windows used throughout as well. Typically this style of plan tends to have a very vertical profile and thus makes it more idealistic for use on a narrow lot.
