Cottage House Plans

The cottage style engulfs the Country, French, and English Cottage style house plans. It is usually a small cozy cabin type of plan. Although there is no finite definition for a cottage house plan, however the dictionary considers it a cottage to be “a smell, usually frame one-family house”, or as “a small house for vacation use.” However, cottages are not required to be only small, as there are larger homes that have the look and feel of a cottage, and thus are names such. The exterior construction is usually made of brick, stone and wood, although you might tend to find these building materials located on the inside as well for detail. Normally a cottage will have a smaller, irregular footprint, consisting of unpretentious interiors. More times than not, you will find there to be a decorative exterior detailing with a steep pitch gabled roof.
